Bulldog students will attend class until 4:00 p.m. this week.A long winter has led to longer school days this week in Batesville. Students will go an additional hour to make up for missed time accumulated over the past few months. The Batesville School Board approved the measure at its March meeting citing longer school days in April, rather than in June, can benefit students who are preparing for the next round of ISTEP testing. The additional hour is added to the end of the school day. It is effect for six days, from Apr. 14 through Apr. 21. The school year is scheduled to conclude on May 30.
