Klopp: I won’t take pills to stop me celebrating if Liverpool score at Dortmund

first_imgLiverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will celebrate in his usual extravagant style if his team score against Borussia Dortmund, the club he managed for seven seasons. Klopp joined Liverpool in October, but still retains fond memories of his former club and joked he won’t ‘take any pills’ to keep him calm, should the Reds score at the Westfalenstadion. He was a huge success Dortmund, leading them to two Bundesliga titles and a Champions League final, before taking a spell out of the game, and says it will be business as usual on Thursday night. Klopp said: “I will not go there and take some pills which mean I won’t celebrate a goal,’ he said.“If it’s in the first minute, I won’t go running down the line. But if it’s important, if it’s decisive, in this moment then that’s what happens.‘Of course I will celebrate. I did it when I went back to Mainz with Dortmund, and I was there for 18 years (as a player and manager). He added: “I did everything for Mainz, I did everything for Dortmund and now I do everything for Liverpool – it is like it is.“We all started playing against our best friends and I can’t remember a moment where, because it was my best friend, I did not want to win. That is absolutely bulls***!”Commentary of Borussia Dortmund v Liverpool is on talkSPORT from 7pm – listen LIVE! 1 Jurgen Klopp celebrates a goal for Liverpool in his inimitable style last_img read more
