The data for 15-year fixed-rate mortgages yielded a fall from 3.75 percent last week to 3.65 percent this week, staying in the shadow of a 4.06 percent average from this time last year.[COLUMN_BREAK]For five-year Treasury adjustable-rate mortgages, “”Freddie””:http://www.freddiemac.com/ posted a 3.29 percent average, down from 3.30 percent last week and far beneath the 3.85 percent average at which the rates hovered at the same time last year.
